2026 desk calendar being sold for a local charity

Charity Calendar now on sale

Networking Chandler’s Ford are delighted to confirm that their superb 2026 Desk Calendar is now on sale!  It would make a stylish and useful present for anyone who knows our area AND will be supporting a really worthwhile local cause.

It started with an idea…

Earlier this year, our member Ainslie, the Print Lady, was doing an informal presentation about ‘the power of print‘ and showing off some of the lovely stationery and promotional items that she has made for her clients over the years.  Of course, she has produced more than her fair share of calendars, too.  One of our members said “Why don’t we make an NCF calendar?” and so it began.

Having calculated what the production costs would be, it was agreed that any member who wanted to could sponsor one month for the cost one twelfth of the costs.  We agreed that sponsoring members could then have a few calendars themselves but the balance (nearly 200 copies!) would be sold for a local charity.  But which charity? We asked members who they wanted to support and the Eastleigh Basics Bank was the popular choice.

Into production…

Quickly, members Claire (Minerva Marketing) and Sally (Sally Golden Photography) had been roped in to organise the artwork and take some of the photos, respectively.   We realised that members of the public would be unlikely to buy a calendar with a lot of adverts in it so we wanted to create something that we think is unique: has anyone ever seen a Chandler’s Ford (and area) calendar before?

After some chasing and final proofing, Ainslie and her graphic design colleague, Kay, helped us get it ready to print.  We took delivery early in October and we are now on the look-out for local places who will be willing to sell a few copies for us (please get in touch if you know anyone!).

Order yours now!

These calendars will make a smart addition to any desk or worktop, and many of us are planning to give them as Christmas presents.  We are selling them for £5 each and local delivery (or collection) can be arranged.  Please email us to inquire or place your order.

Jack the dog couldn’t resist getting in the act – see if you can spot all of him somewhere in the calendar!
